General

I have a conviction for a minor offence - can I still become a social worker?

In order to become a social worker a person needs to register with the GSCC (General Social Care Council) which will expect an applicant to be of good character and meet high standards of conduct. For further advice you will need to discuss with the HEI (higher education institution) of your choice or the GSCC.
