Training and Qualifications

What is the current qualification for social work?

In September 2003 a new degree in social work was introduced, which will usually take three years to complete and be a vocational qualification. A postgraduate Masters programme is available for graduates. The Diploma in Social Work (DipSW) is still a recognised qualification.
