Training and Qualifications

Will I get any credit for previous experience or qualifications?

The new professional qualification in social work will be at honours degree level and can be studied through full-time, part-time and distance learning programmes. Where appropriate, previous academic experience may be taken into account and some form of credit given. Graduate entrants may also be able to achieve this qualification in a shorter timescale. The individual Higher Education Institute offering the professional qualification will be able to advise you with full details on what they are offering. However to complete the qualification you will need to complete a minimum of 200 days in practice in at least two settings.
